The Bureau enforces the New Mexico Insurance Code, New Mexico Administrative Code, Federal Requirements related to the Affordable Care Act, as well as Bulletins and various Guidance issued by Office of Superintendent of Insurance (OSI). The Life and Health Product Filing Bureau oversees life, annuities and the following health product types: Major Medical, including Qualified Health Plans, Accident Only, Dental, Vision, Specified Disease or Illness, Hospital Indemnity or other fixed indemnity insurance, Medicare supplement, Credit life, Credit health, Disability Income, Medicare Supplement, Long Term Care, Prearranged Funeral Plans. 

This office utilizes SERFF (System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing) which offers a technological solution and cost-effective method for facilitating the submission, review, and approval of product filings.
