The New Mexico Office of Superintendent of Insurance (OSI) will begin collecting the Insurance Fraud Fee through OPTins, a program offered by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. A link to New Mexico’s OPTins page will be posted on OSI’s website on September 12, 2024. Due to the delay in the publication of the link, the late fee for submitting the Insurance Fraud Fee has been extended to November 1, 2024. We thank carriers for their patience as OSI takes active measures to make the collection process more transparent and operationally efficient.
