This bulletin is issued in accordance with Section 59-2-8 NMSA 1978, 13.1.2 NMAC,  and 13.7.4 NMAC.

Some parts of the state of New Mexico faced tornadoes and severe thunderstorms beginning on May 24, 2023 and lasting over the course of the next several days.  On June 1, 2023, the Superintendent of Insurance issued Bulletin No. 2023-014, requiring insurance companies to report specific claims data related to those natural disaster events.
